This Privacy Policy describes how Aerocube ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Aerodocs application ("App") on iOS and Android platforms.

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Name
• Email address
• Profile photo (if provided by your sign-in provider)
• Country/region

You may sign in using Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In. We receive only the information you authorize these providers to share.

1.2 User-Generated Content

• Scanned documents and their metadata (title, tags, categories, size)
• Notes and note content
• Secrets and credentials you store in the vault (encrypted)
• Signatures you create within the App

1.3 Device Information

• Device model and manufacturer
• Operating system and version
• App version
• Unique device identifier (Vendor ID on iOS, Android ID on Android)
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token for push notifications

1.4 Usage Data

• Feature usage events (e.g., scans performed, tools used)
• Crash reports and performance data (via Firebase Crashlytics)
• Advertising identifiers (for non-premium users only)

1.5 Subscription and Purchase Information

• Subscription status and plan type
• Purchase timestamps and expiry dates
• Transaction identifiers (we do not collect or store payment card details)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App
• Sync your documents, notes, and secrets across devices via cloud storage
• Process and manage subscriptions
• Send push notifications (promotions, updates, shared document alerts)
• Deliver and personalize advertisements to non-premium users
• Analyse documents using AI services when you use the document analysis feature
• Send transactional emails (e.g., shared document access notifications)
• Monitor app stability and fix crashes
• Prevent fraud and enforce our terms

3. Data Storage and Security

3.1 Cloud Storage

Your documents, notes, and secrets are stored in Google Firebase (Firestore and Cloud Storage) when you use cloud sync features. Data is transmitted over TLS-encrypted connections.

3.2 Secrets Encryption

Credentials stored in the Secrets vault are encrypted using AES-256-GCM before being transmitted to or stored on our servers. Encryption keys are derived from your unique user identifier and are not stored separately.

3.3 Local Security

The App supports PIN, pattern lock, and biometric authentication (Face ID / Touch ID on iOS; fingerprint / face unlock on Android) to protect access to sensitive content. Biometric data is processed entirely on your device by the operating system. We never receive, transmit, or store biometric data.

3.4 Backups

Encrypted backups may be stored in Firebase Cloud Storage. Backup files are encrypted with AES-256 before upload.

5. Advertising

Non-premium users are shown advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to deliver personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings. Premium subscribers do not see advertisements, and no advertising data is collected for them.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following circumstances:

• With your consent: When you share a document with another user, the recipient receives access to that document and associated metadata.
• Service providers: With the third-party services listed in Section 4, solely to provide the App's functionality.
• Legal requirements: When required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
• Safety: To protect the rights, property, or safety of Aerocube, our users, or the public.

7. Data Retention

• Your account data is retained as long as your account is active.
• When you delete your account via the App's "Reset Account" feature, all associated cloud data (documents, notes, secrets, device profiles, events) and your authentication record are permanently deleted.
• Crash reports and anonymized analytics may be retained for up to 90 days after account deletion.
• Local data on your device is not affected by account deletion. You may delete the App to remove local data.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete your personal data
• Export your data
• Withdraw consent for data processing
• Object to or restrict certain processing activities
• Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

10. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States, where our service providers operate. By using the App, you consent to such transfers. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy within the App or via push notification. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
